ELCIA Skill Development Centre (ESDC), an ELCIA skilling initiative, invites applications for the position of Mechanical / Technical Trainer, based out of Electronics City, Bengaluru.
This is a full-time, on-site role focused on training, upskilling, and building industry-ready talent for Electronics City industries and government skill programs.

Role Overview
The Trainer will be responsible for end-to-end delivery of technical and skill-based training programs, including classroom, practical, and online sessions, as well as coordination with government schemes, apprenticeship programs, and industry partners.
Trainer Roles & Responsibilities
The candidate will be responsible for:
- Develop and creation of training modules with respect to short -term courses.
- Conduct the Technical Training sessions (which include theory and practical) by effective use of teaching aids for CMKKY/ILC, NAPS, Government schemes and for Member Industry employees of Electronics City.
- Engage Trainees with day-to-day training activities.
- Conduct Computer Skills, Soft Skills including English languages.
- Assessing the training needs of the Trainees
- Evaluating of training outcomes.
- Feedback and analysis of training sessions.
- Update the documents in Government Portal from time to time.
- Coordinate with Apprenticeship Trainees (NAPS and NATS).
- Managing the Training Analysis report.
- Updating of Training Programs and Training reports.
- Coordinating and Monitoring all Training Programs.
- Maintaining Skill Matrix.
- Development of new training concepts.
- Conduct Online Training.
- Managing online training schedule and conducting online certifications.
- Executing programs defined in the Training Calendar.
- Conducting refresher programs.
Support Roles
The candidate will also support in:
- Mobilisation of trainees for short – term courses / Apprenticeship by visiting Institutes (ITI/Polytechnic/Engineering Colleges), Participating in Job Mela, Exhibitions, conducting Webinars, Seminars.
- One on One Counselling and mentoring of Trainees/ Students.
- Visiting Industry to get information about Training of employees, Requirement of Apprentices and feedback.
- Coordination of visits.
- Assisting in Counselling and Placements of Trained students
- Any other assignments from the management.
End-to-End Process Management
- Ensure smooth functioning of all processes within the Skill Development Department.
- Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the ESDC department.
- Evaluate training documents and update them periodically.
- Prepare presentations, job descriptions, and process documents related to ESDC activities.
Skills Required
- Strong communication, analytical, and MS Office skills.
- Languages: English and Kannada compulsory (other languages optional).
Eligibility
- Education: Graduate / B.Com
- Experience: Knowledge of Skill Development activities preferred
- Age: 20 to 30 years
- Interest in skilling and youth development
